DANGER TONE STUDIOS is a professional recording and rehearsal studio located in Melbourne, Australia.

The recording studio comprises a comfortable, well equipped air-conditioned control-room, a 6x6m live room with high ceilings, and a smaller second live room for guitar amps/overdubs.

DANGER TONE is a digital/analogue hybrid recording studio, running Pro Tools 2019 software, all centered around a Sound Workshop Series 30 console and a plethora of outboard preamps, compressors, analog multi-effects units and digital plugins. We also offer a wide selection of guitars, guitar amplifiers, bass amplifiers, guitar pedals and multiple house drum kits for use on your session.

Having played in bands Blunt Shovel, Here I Die, Blood Duster, The Ocularis Infernum, The Plague Black and Abrasion, Luke's been a part of the Melbourne metal scene for a few decades, and brings his love for all metal to Danger Tone; not only as a musician, but a killer recording and mix engineer!

Luke started his career in engineering recording his own bands and recording live band sets around various Melbourne venues. Eventually he started a small recording studio in his own home where he worked mainly recording session musicians, and still recording his own bands and personal projects.

With over a decade of professional studio experience under his belt, and having worked with Studios 301, Sony Music Entertainment Studios, 3 Monkeys Music, Jungle Studios, The Vault Studios, The Lab, A Sharp Studios, Everland Studios, Radio Station JJJ, Television Show "The Voice", and SAE Creative Media Institute in Sydney, Tye brings a passion for professional world-class production to every project he works on.

Tye brings a love of songwriting, an ear for music and a passion and expertise for audio engineering to every band he works with. His goal is to provide you with the most comfortable, memorable and fun studio experience on every visit, and give you a great recording to show for it!

In October 2013, Tye had the opportunity to study under legendary Grammy nominated producer/engineer JOE BARRESI (Tool, Slipknot, Queens Of The Stone Age, Coheed and Cambria, Avenged Sevenfold) at the Mix With The Masters program in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, France!
